WHAT WE BELIEVE.
1. We believe the bible to be the inspired, authoritative Word of God 2Peter 1;21
2. We believe the Godhead consists of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. 2Cor. 13:14 three in one and one in three.
3. We believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ in his virgin birth, in his atoning death, in His resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father 1tim 3:16
4. We believe in evangelistic and missionary fervor. Acts 1:8; Mark 16:15-18.
5. We believe in salvation through the redeeming blood of Jesus Christ. Heb. 9:22
6. We believe in the keeping power of God and the holy walk, not after flesh but after the Spirit, Jude 24 Rom.8: 4.
7. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost according to acts 2:4, 10:46, 19:6 and the present Holy Spirit in and through the believer as manifest in the ministries, gifts and fruits of the Spirit. 1Cor. 12:8-11, Gal. 5:22,23
8. We believe that divine healing is obtained on the basis of the atonement. 1Peter 2:24.
9. We believe in Christ’s bodily return in power and great glory. Acts. 1:11, Rev.29: 4, Dan 714.
10. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of eternal punishment. John 5:28,29, Rev. 20:15
11. We believe in the believers’ baptism in water by immersion. We believe that such a baptism is a testimony to the world of an inward work of grace. This is confession of one’s personal experience of salvation. We do not consider baptism before the experience of salvation as scriptural. Mat.28:19; mark 16:16; Acts10:48; Acts 22:16; Rom 6:3; 1Cor.12: 13; gal.3: 27; col 2:12 and 1 Peter 3: 21. Examples of believer’s baptism: Acts 2:41 Acts 8:38; acts 9:18 Acts 16:33; Acts 18:8; and Acts 19:5.
12. We believe in Holy-Matrimony. We believe in the sanctity of marriage. We believe that the scriptural teaching is that of monogamy.Gen.2: 24; Mat 5:32; mark 10:7-9; Rom 7:2; 1Cor. 7:10 and 11; 1 Tim3: 12 and Heb. 13:4.
13. We believe in the dedication of infants. It is our belief that Christian parents should dedicate their children to the lord. 1 Sam 1:24-28; Mark 10:13-16.
14. We believe in the fellowship of the Lord’s Supper. Mat. 26:26; mark 14:22; Luke 22:19; 1 Cor.10: 16 and 1 Cor 11:23
15. We believe in the church communities and functioning under the authority of the Bible as the Word of God. Acts 2:42-47; Acts 4:32-37; 1 Cor.12: 12-28 and Eph. 1:23
